Rocking Chair Contest 2010
To raise money for art supplies the Art Club entered a local art contest. The local bank wanted students to decorate a rocking chair in a savings theme. We came up with a piggy bank theme. The students painted the chair bright pink and added details with felt eyes, ears, nose, and a pipe cleaner tail. I also purchased fake money from Dollar Tree and the students added the money with Mod Podge. We won most creative and got a check for $305 !
